Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre
The Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre (QSAC) is a training and competition hub for high performance and elite athletes, as well as a popular training facility for the community.
QSAC was originally built for the 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games, the venue formerly hosted home games for the Brisbane Broncos and is now primarily used for athletics, including international, national and local events, as well as some football matches.
The Sate Athletics Facility (SAF) is located next to the Main Stadium at QSAC and can host spectators not only in the grandstand with undercover seating but also on the beautiful grassy surrounds.
The SAF is primarily used as a competition venue for Queensland Athletics, Little Athletics Queensland and Queensland Masters athletics as well as over 80 other schools and range of other organisations each year for events.
