Badminton
The badminton court was on fire with players exuding strength, precision and focus as they battled it out on the court.
The shuttlecock and badminton racquets may be light, but it takes incredible skill and fitness to manoeuvre the game in one’s favour to win the most points in the match.
Badminton entered the OA Games 2022 sports competition as a demonstration event for sport development.
It showcased the ability of II-1, II-2 and II-3 athletes with intellectual impairment to compete at the highest level of international sport competition.
The Badminton competition was delivered in partnership with Badminton Australia.
Competition days were held on:
