Rowing

Catch, drive, finish and recovery are the basics to a powerful rowing stroke in this heart-pumping sport whether indoor or on-water.

The OA Games 2022 competition for II-1 and II-3 groups had indoor rowers saddling up on the rowing machine to see who could row the fastest and the hardest.

On-water crews took to the water going neck-to-neck in single and double sculls to propel their boats across the open water with the Scenic Rim’s Wyaralong Dam.

The Rowing competition was delivered in partnership with Rowing Queensland.

Indoor Rowing competition at Chandler Theatre was held on:

  • Wednesday 9 November
  • Thursday 10 November

On-water Rowing competition at Queensland Sate Rowing Centre , Wyaralong Dam was held on:

  • Monday 7 November
  • Tuesday 8 November
