Brisbane Aquatic Centre (Sleeman Sports Complex)

The Brisbane Aquatic Centre is located in Sleeman Sports Complex and is Queensland’s premier swimming complex.

The venue is at Sleeman Sports Complex and hosts international, national and state level competitions, of various aquatic sports, all year round.  This facility is also used on a daily basis by locals for a range of activities including lessons, training and swim carnivals. 

On offer at the venue is a 50m indoor Olympic pool; an indoor dive pool with 10m, 7.5m, 5m, 3m and 1m diving platforms; an outdoor pool with 13 lanes (which includes the ski jump) and a 25m indoor heated pool with a waterpark and waterslide.

The Brisbane Aquatic Centre has an overall seating capacity of 4,350 for large scale events, which is split between the Western and Eastern grandstands located in the indoor 50m pool and dive pool. 

The Geoff Henke Olympic Winter Training Centre (Ski Jump) is the southern hemispheres first year round ski-jumping facility. This facility was built to simulate a snow ski ramp to help athletes train for Olympic skiing events.  The structure is 37m tall and allows athletes to reach speeds of up to 70km/h and launch 17m above water.
