About the Games
The Virtus Oceania Asia Games 2022 (OA Games 2022) is an international multi-sport event in the Oceania Asia region for elite athletes with intellectual impairment. It was held on 5-11 November 2022 in Brisbane, Australia. This event was delivered by Sport Inclusion Australia.
This was a milestone event, the very first Virtus Regional Games that was held in the Oceania Asia region, with hundreds of athletes and 25 national teams competing.
The OA Games 2022 celebrated people, diversity, sport, ability and culture in a major sporting event allowing athletes to compete on a world stage.
